是登山去 我們卻看海踏浪 一日閒~
李涉《题鹤林寺壁》A Drift Life
终日昏昏醉夢間,
I drowsed away day after day
like one so drunk on dreams,
忽聞春盡强登山。
and hied off to the mount only
to catch sweet spring’s last gleams.
因過竹院逢僧話,
I chanced to meet a monk and talked
by a bamboo-hid shrine,
又得浮生半日閒。
thus secured a half day carefree
in this drift life of mine.
